Recently, I had the chance to attend the Football Association of Singapore Introductory Coaching Course (Women's). The course was designed specifically for women to get an introduction to coaching in football and it was held over two weekends.

As someone who loves football and has a passion for coaching, this course was a perfect opportunity for me to gain a deeper understanding of the sport and develop my coaching skills. During the course, I learned about various coaching techniques, drills, and methods for creating a positive and inclusive environment for female players.

One of the highlights of the course was hearing from experienced coaches and players who shared their insights and experiences. Their stories inspired me and made me realize the important role coaches play in shaping the future of football and creating opportunities for players.

In addition to my newfound knowledge of coaching techniques, I was also inspired to contribute to the growth and recognition of women's football. I realized during the course that often times, coaches tend to only draw examples from men's players when coaching women's teams. This lack of representation and visibility of female players is something I want to change.

With the knowledge I gained from the FAS Introductory Coaching Course, I plan on sharing my insights and analysis of women's football teams and highlighting talented women's players. By doing so, I hope to provide coaches with a wider range of examples to draw from when coaching women's teams, and to give female players the recognition they deserve.

In conclusion, my experience at the FAS Introductory Coaching Course has not only enhanced my coaching skills but also reinforced my commitment to promoting and empowering women in football. I'm eager to put my newfound knowledge into action and help create a more inclusive and equal environment for female players.
